1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and Wellix, operated by Valeria Levitan, tax-exempt sole proprietor (Osek Patur) in Israel, tax-file no. 341083038, of Anna Frank 34, Rishon LeZion, Israel (the "Provider"). By creating an account or using the Wellix mobile application (the "App") you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Health disclaimer
Wellix provides approximate calorie and nutrient estimates generated by AI. The App is for general wellness and informational purposes only. It is not medical, dietary, or fitness advice, does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and is not a substitute for professional consultation. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making dietary changes, especially during pregnancy, illness, or while taking medication.
3. Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher age set by your country's data-protection law — 16 in some EU member states) to use the App. One account per person; do not share credentials. You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
4. Acceptable use
Do not: submit non-food images for AI analysis at scale, attempt to reverse-engineer the AI provider's responses, scrape the App, upload anyone else's personal data, interfere with our infrastructure, or use the App for any unlawful purpose.
5. Subscriptions
Wellix offers an optional Premium subscription (monthly or annual) via Apple App Store or Google Play. The subscription auto-renews at the end of each period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal. Manage or cancel from your iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Account → Subscriptions. We do not control billing — refunds are issued by Apple or Google per their policies.
EU / UK consumers
Under EU Directive 2019/770 you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a paid subscription. By starting to use Premium features before that period elapses, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge the loss of the withdrawal right for content already supplied.
Russian consumers
Wellix is not specifically directed at the Russian market. Refunds for store purchases are issued solely by Apple or Google according to their respective policies; we have no ability to override those decisions. For other questions you may contact support@wellix.cc.
California consumers
You can cancel a Wellix subscription at any time without penalty, with the same number of steps required to subscribe.
6. Free tier and advertising
The Free tier includes a limited number of AI scans per day and shows advertising provided by Google AdMob. Ads are non-personalised. In the EEA/UK a consent banner governs ad serving; you can review your choices at any time via Settings → Privacy → Manage privacy choices.
7. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of the photographs and content you submit. You grant Wellix a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to process that content for the purpose of operating the App (in particular, sending images to xAI for nutrition recognition). Wellix owns the App, its underlying software, and all derived recommendations.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time via the App ("Delete account") or by emailing support@wellix.cc. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The App is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wellix disclaims implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or death/personal injury).
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, with exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of habitual residence provide otherwise. EU/UK consumers retain the protections of their home jurisdiction; this clause does not deprive you of them.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in-app at least 30 days in advance.
